Life Is About Laughter.
The more I Laugh. The better Life is.

I grew up in Bellevue, Washington where my mother would tell you I started dancing before walking. Singing before talking. I think most mothers say that. Nonetheless, I started performing at the age of 2. I performed my first 'paying gig' at the age of 9 in the Pacific Northwest Ballet's performance of the NUTCRACKER.

Spring of 5th Grade I accompanied a friend to the auditions of the play LITTLE ALIENS at the Crossroads Youth Theatre, (now the Bellevue Youth Theatre) a local community theatre. It was around this age that I made the transition from dancer to actor and discontinued  my classes at PNB to partake in my newly discovered passion :: THEATRE. Where I could do all three things I loved - dance, sing & act.

I spent the next 7 years, all of middle school & high school, working at the Crossroads Youth Theatre. While there I learned to do almost anything you need done in a theatre : stage managing, choreography, hair & make up, box office, ushering, costume design & construction, set construction, light hanging, etc. etc. etc.

Around age 14 I began to take an interest in directing and was lucky enough to begin assistant directing several shows there. I solo-directed my first piece my senior year of high school - TWELVE DANCING PRINCESSES.

I attended the School of Theatre at the University of Southern California. While there I also had the opportunity to start working in the magical world of film. I worked as a director for the student organization Brand New Theatre that produced all new student works. I was the Artistic Director for the Writing Our Dreams organization in it's second year 2007-08. I also directed & co-produced the Independent Student Production, ACTS OF CONTRITION,  in the fall of 2007. I received my BA in Theatre and a minor in Greek Classics (completed while studying abroad in Athens!) in 2008.

Since graduating I have had the fortune to keep working in Theatre & Film:

Company Member - Alliance Repertory Company - North Hollywood, CA
Co-Director & Dancer - JUNGLE BOOK - Bellevue Youth Theatre
Personal Assistant - Fredric Golchan - Frederic Golchan Productions
Directing Intern - CAROLINE OR CHANGE - The Guthrie Theatre
Mary - CIGARETTES FOR JESUS - Spirit in the House Festival
Lenore - 9X9X9 - The Flowershop Project
Intern - Director's Lab West - Los Angeles
Director - THEATREMAKERS - O'Neill Theatre Center
Assistant Director - RUBY, TRAGICALLY ROTUND - LA Theatre Center
Assistant Director - A SONG AT TWILIGHT - The Odyssey Theatre

And much more!

And now here I am! Looking forward to my next chance to make some magic...
